To all Sec 2s who had signed up for the New South Wales Science
Assessment:
Please take note that you are to report to classroom 209 (for
participants in 201 - 203) or classroom 205 (for participants in
204 - 206) next Tuesday at 10.45am for the assessment.
Please be punctual, the duration is 1 hour. You will need your
calculator, a 2B pencil and a soft eraser for shading of the OAS.

Dear students,
Interested in becoming a Forensic Scientist for a day?
Ngee Ann Poly's School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology has
arranged a 2.5 hours workshop (3pm to 5.30pm)on the following dates
for students. During the workshop, students will assume the role of
a forensic scientist and solve the mysterious death of Ah Beng.
Interesting hands-on activities will be planned for you to learn
about diseases, drugs and how scientifitic methods are used to
diagnose diseases and test for drugs.
The cost of the workshop is $10.70 per participant. Arrangements
can be made to have the fee deducted from your Edusave account.
In the event that the Edusave deduction is not possible, you will
have to pay in cash.
The following dates are available on a firstcomefirstserve basis:
Thu 13/8 Fri 14/8 Thu 3/9 Fri 4/9
Mon 7/9 Tue 8/9 Wed 9/9 Thu 10/9 Fri 11/9
Transport will be provided to and from school only if we have more
than 30 students on a single day. Else, you will have to make your
way down to Ngee Ann Poly yourself.
A list will be pasted outside Science Staffroom for you to sign up.
Deadline for registration is 20 May (Wed).

just some reminders for everybody
pls remember to bring your thermometers and tissue paper everyday from today onwards
because of the swineflu, gotta take precautions
then, for the class relay system, if your classmate happen to call or sms u
pls help to pass down the message to the next one
and reply that u have read the msg , if not the person will take it as you have nt receive the msg.
and if u did nt receive any confirmations or replies, inform the person who contacted you.
